URGENT Local Election Action – Door-Knocking for Charles Gallia in Oregon SD 20  (Oregon City, Gladstone, Canby, Estacada, Mollala)

This may be the most important thing we can do for the environment and healthcare locally! OSTPDX supports Gallia.

We have a strong progressive, Charles Gallia, running in SD20. Charles is an Oregon health care expert and will be the major advocate in Salem to craft a Single-payer Health Care bill for all Oregonians. Additionally, we are one Senator and one House race away from a 2/3rds majority to pass Tax Fairness Bills in Oregon.

Current State Sen. Alan Olsen must go:

  • Climate denier (ranked 90th out of 90 by OR League of Conservation Voters)
  • Co-sponsored a ban on abortion
  • Sponsored a bill that would have closed all but 1 women’s health facility in Oregon.

To defeat Sen. Alan Olsen, Charles needs our help. We must knock on 4k doors during June to prove he has the manpower to make good use of advertising/printing/mailing donations. (Meeting this challenge will open up additional funding for his campaign.)

YOUR ACTION: Contact Serin (campaign manager): Serin@gallia4oregon.comand tell her that you are able to knock on doors for Charles Gallia. (Feel free to do this with a buddy! Sometimes it’s more fun that way.) You do not have to live in his district to volunteer for the campaign.

Some of you may not have the time or have health and family issues. Please consider  Donating to Charles Campaign here.

Ways to volunteer and donate to help those detained in Sheridan.

Pitch in to send Jamie to Washington D.C. from OR-2! Defeat Greg Walden.

How can you help? Sign up to receive updates or to volunteer. The best way is voter outreach, contacting voters directly and sharing with them why you support Jamie. See Jamie’s calendar of upcoming events here.
